2016 Lighthouse Event

This year LARC participated in the annual International Lighthouse Event.

This was a test to see if it was a event worth repeating.. and it certainly was!

We had wonderful weather and good band conditions. We setup in Goderich at the main lighthouse. We made approximately 85 contacts.  Though we were not allowed in the lighthouse, the park is a great location overlooking Lake Huron.  We had many people asking about amateur radio and a good time was had by all.
